If we had to pick the most beautiful area of Australia that we visited, we would have to choose North Stradbroke Island or Straddie as the locals call it. The island is only accessible by boat so that’s how we and our car got there. We took a vehicular ferry over and then spent the day exploring the island.

The rugged coastline and soft sand beaches are amazing. The force of the ocean water slamming against the solid rocks was mesmerizing. Watching whales and dolphins leap was incredible.  We sat on the rocks for hours taking it all in.

I only wish we had taken more time to visit  and explore Straddie.
